Paint Striping from Happy Tubs is the easiest way to get your bathtub stripped. Most paint strippings are completed in about 2-3 hours, and for only $199 when added to refinishing or restoration.
Paint stripper releases Methylene Chloride and requires sufficient ventilation of the work area. If you choose to strip the bathtub yourself, please take all neccessary precautions.

The Happy Tubs Bathtub Stripping Process

Previously Refinished Tub

Most refinishings fail due to non slip plastic mats being used on the tub. About 25% of our work consists of redoing other refinishers poorly done work due to improper prep.

Paint Stripper Applied

After prepping the tub and surrounding area for stripping, paint stripper is carefully applied. Proper safety precautions are mandatory for paint stripping.

Bathtub Fully Stripped

After lots of scrapping and repeated cleanings, we make sure the waste is properly disposed of. The tub and surrounding area are cleaned to prepare for refinishing.

The Refinished Tub

The bathtub is refinished with a 4K Acrylic Poly-Urethane. The new finish is applied carefully, resulting in a like-new surface. We then clean up and apply fresh caulking.
